Our Story...

When Bob and Darla Feil purchased The Train Depot Restaurant in 2005, it became a family business with themselves and their two daughters; Melissa and Megan. Today it continues as a family business with a few added changes along the way.

In 2018, Bob and Darla retired, and Melissa Dooley and Megan Feil purchased the restaurant making them the proud owners. Over the years they gained experience including management skills, customer requests, and newly founded friendships. A few years later, they chose to make additional changes to their business making the dining experience even more enjoyable. They gathered their thoughts to refresh the restaurant with new ideas, menu improvements and to carry forward the people’s favorites.

Melissa and Megan attribute their success by listening to what customers say, and like, in order to strive for the best. Running a family business has opened opportunities for positive change, and rewarding experiences. The most rewarding experiences for the family is the gratification that our customers share with us.

We are excited about the future and will continue to offer you enjoyable dining experiences with great food and friendly service. The former Train “Depot” name was changed but not lost, the “Depot” continues to be a place to gather, and is now known as The Depot Eatery.
